A leader of Trove’s Tax Services division, Ian is a trusted advisor to families and businesses, providing accounting and tax services to a wide range of clients. A member of our team since 2022, Ian specializes in partnerships, with an emphasis on private equity and venture capital funds. Ian also has significant expertise helping ultra-high net worth individuals with tax minimization strategies, thoughtful planning, and compliance. In addition to managing a diverse client base of families, estates, trusts, and closely held businesses. Ian and his team stay well-informed of tax law changes and regulations to ensure clients receive quality tax advice and outstanding client service. He helps ensure superior client service and continuity of client experience throughout the firm, and frequently provides training and professional development to team members. A licensed CPA with more than 15 years’ experience, Ian is a valuable technical resource to Trove’s Tax, Business Services, and Family Office Services teams. Ian earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Science in Taxation from Brigham Young University. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs® and the Utah Association of CPAs.
